Update 2

Mon Sep 22, 2008 4:01 pm

MSX GameBase UPDATE 2

loads of new games to play. :D

<<SORRY LINK BROKEN>>

This will need to be installed over the Update 1 pack.

All the ROMs will need to to be moved to the A-Z Directories
in the EXTRAS/ROMS folder in order to work.

If anyone has a dump of Cyborg Z (Zemina).
please share it.
Thanks.

Superb once again guys :D

Just a quick question if I may, I've added Snatcher & SD Snatcher to your Gamebase (just for my own personal use as I love these games) is there any way GEMUS can insert the SCC cartridge ?

These are the blueMSX manual instructions:
Some games on disk (Konami Games Collection, Snatcher, SD-Snatcher, adapted rom games for Flashrom) or demos (Fony Demo Disk 1 for example) require the insertion of a SCC cartridge or a SCC-I cartridge to get good sounds. You can use for that the File/Cartridge/Insert Special menu.

SCC Cart

Wed Sep 24, 2008 12:32 pm

Hi Sut,

The 2 games you mentioned are for MSX2.
and this is a MSX1 GameBase.
i don't know of a game that will not load without the SCC cart inserted in the MSX1 yet.
even though i have seen a few hacks that use it.

But to answer your question.
Yes the SCC cart can be inserted with the GEMUS.
and will be in due course.

We just havent got that far with the MSX2 Gamebase.
and script yet. :D

I can't seem to download this update file, and I've tried it on 2 different computers. It just sends me through a loop. I click "download now", then a 20-second countdown appears. Then I click "click here to start your download", and it takes me back to the first screen, where it says "download now" again, and if I click that , the 20-second countdown appears again, and so forth. Can somebody post this on a different site? I have tried disabling firewalls and even my antivirus for a second, and I just can't get this file. Anybody else have this problem with z-share?

looks like you missed out.

It's not your firewall thats at fault.
The problem is with the Z-Share site.
The file gets removed from Z-Share (by them) after a month or so.
if no-one downloads.
but they do host the file for FREE, so i can't complian.

i will upload the Update again with the MSX2 Gamebase when complete.
so keep watching this space so you don't miss out.

MSX2 Gamebase

Thu Dec 04, 2008 1:24 pm

MSX2 Gamebase.

Well after a crashed system and many delays...

i thought i better get the Gamebase released,
in time for the Christmas holiday.
And here it is.

File msx2.rar (283747 KB) uploaded!

Download-Link:
http://rapidshare.de/files/41058435/msx2.rar.html

This is not complete by any stretch of the imagination.
But good enough to pass as a first release.

the script is written for the BlueMSX emulator.
and all games are tested working or fixed for it.

Please let us know of suggestions or mistakes.
we will listen.

Hope you like it.

Hi .mad. ,
after the "countdown" on Rapidshare for DL the file, I can't see the number-code to type in....
I've tried it about 10 times, but allways the same problem
the code would not been shown
instead of the number-code, I see only a white square with a small red point in it....

Hope you know what I mean, 'cause I can not upload a picture

hummm. not sure?

1) have you got cookies and java script enabled in your browser.

2) do you have problems downloading any other file from
Rapidshare or just this one.

3) check your firewall log to see if it's being blocked.

if you are using IE7, install Firefox browser and try again.

if you still have problems...
visit this site. 8)

I use Firefox, cookies & java is enabled
but for some reason the "grafik" was disabled

So I've to right click the "white sqare" and choose :
"show grafik", then it works...

Don't know, where to enable it on Firefox....

But now i've got the Code and have DL the File :D

Thanks for your reply !

code problem

Sat Dec 06, 2008 4:48 pm

i found the problem.
just add this certificate in Firefox options.
seems like the Comodo Firewall blocks the image,
or connection to Rapidshare's secure server.

Image

you can delete it after you get the file if your paranoid.

Thanks for the gamebases. I hope you don't mind but I changed the startup icons. (the game characters didn't quite fit into "The Bar")
