I have a GamebaseMSX in my collection of Gamebase databases.
I'm not sure, but I think it is the version that Sjakie43 has been working on.
I can upload it to Rapidshare if anyone is interested.

I have been having a good play with mad's database It will save so much time adding each game thanks mad!

I have decided to include all msx machines within the gamebase and have had a good play with Gemus. What a great scripting tool! i written a gemus script to auto detect the diffrent machines based on the folder name for each machine.

I have now started getting screenshots for the games. The first release will include screenshots for all the goodset msx1 games.

I was going reply about your great gamebase once i have had a good look at it.

There are loads and loads of games added and great screenshots must of taken a long time. I didnt appreciate how long it take to make a gamebase until i started playing with it!

Would you mind if i used your screenshots in the one i'm working on. I will add the title shots and a few extra for some games and genre for each game. I have had a look at your roms. There a lot more than what is on the goodset and tosec. I will go through and add what are missing.

Are the games that are not linked disk games?

I would like to use's mad's database as he has all the games linked with company name and dates. But would like to use your screenshots and extra roms it that is ok :o

I wouldn’t have got nowhere near as far without you guys helping me on this you have saved me months worth of work!

Hello Everyone,

We should have the first release of the MSX1 gamebase ready soon ohhhhhh! It will include all the screenshots for the ROM games but all dsk games will also be merged in. At the moment we have decided to have seperate gamebases for MSX1 and MSX2.

You will need the roms which can be found within mads gbsample link above and the dsk games which i have linked below.

MSX1 DSK 1-M
