I have had no luck using the installer. Tried twice, followed the instructions - it doesn't zip up the files for me. I used the new installer. The .bat runs, but after a couple minutes, it says all files are ok, but the files are still not zipped.

I tried using romcenter, and it seems to have worked, but when verifying files, GB says there are 8 missing games. Is that correct? If I use the romcenter method, do I still need to copy over the games from the "fixed versions" folder after the roms are zipped and organized, or is that just for the installer method?

the fixed versions will still be needed to be copied over from the original upload with the bugged installer.
Maybe a few USER disks will need adding from the missing disks folder also.

if you are using the new fixed installer.
you do not need to move any files.
that was the main problem with it.

please could you check the file names in the missing and fixed folders, and see if they match the 8 missing games.
All the games are included in these downloads.

if you still have problems...
please let me know the missing files
and i will send them to you.

Okay, I copied over the fixed versions, and now it says 7 missing games:

L\Lode Runner (Hiramatsu).zip 629 Lode Runner
S\Scorpius (New).zip 955 Scorpius (New)
Sim Ant (1993)(Imagineer).XDF 1002 Sim Ant
S\Super Mahjongg Part2 & 3.zip 1079 Super Mahjongg Part 2 & Part 3
S\Super Mahjongg PIV.zip 1080 Super Mahjongg PIV
W\Words Worth.zip 1217 Words Worth
W\World Golf III.zip 1218 World Golf III

I checked the missing disks folder, and all except sim ant are there, but they are still as multiple .dim files. How should they be zipped so that they can be read by GB? Thanks for the help.

Is this just a bunch of disks? Where do I get the mdb file and all that to run it as a gamebase? Thanks.

Had searched for sites with list of X68000 games with screenshots and descriptions and not found. If someone knows such sites, tell it please; without descriptions but with long list of games names are interesting too. If this gamebase used some sites with screenshots, it would be nice if author said their links.

most games are Japanese, and some adventures are impossible to play without knowing the plot.
But you don't need to know Japanese to play the Arcade Games.

As for the screen shots,
i snapped them all myself while testing the games.
-----
the above LINK shows the same TOSEC collection i used.
just sorted and removed the BAD disks.

It's strange that there are no sites about games for X68. The first time I see popular platform without such site/page, but maybe it's somewhere in Japanese language.
