well, mac68k gamebase i will upload on sandspace as soon as final update 22 of ms-dos goldies has reached 15 completed and some seed.

however i don't like much this mac68k base..the best games don't run both vmac or fusion or basilisk2.
fusion is very slow because is not JIT

however in this first part there are 124 games.

Not bad, but it's shame the emulator isn't up to the job.

just a few suggetions if i may...

i am not sure of HD options myself.
But have you tried putting more than one game on a HD image.

or maybe use 2 Hard drives, one for system and one for game data.

this would reduce the overall size of the GB by quite a lot.
rather than having the system files duplicated for every game.

Also could do with some better screenshots.

i know that emulator are not very good.
the best is vmac, but it supports only 8 MB of RAM so is enough for very old games..

Games that run with vmac run on 20 MB HD space that includes System7 and game
Games that run with Fusion run on 50 BM HD space that includes system7 and the game

I left some duplicate vmac disks when i choose fusion solutions..
but i wasn't sure if fusion would be a right solution...

The best emulator is Fusion but without JIT is very slow.
Basilisk2 is JIT but has problems to run from gamebase.

the only solution should be to force the vmac source to make a macII with 16 MB of RAM. Impossible for me to works on the source. i can only compile it..

sure...

http://www1.datafilehost.com/d/544d6d2a

Before you say it doesn't work...

Please read the script, it needs the setup and OS file in this dir.

C:\GameBase\Macintosh 68k\Emulators\BasiliskII\OS755.hfv

All games need to be zipped so they will extraxt to this dir

c:\GBGame\0\

This is necessary because gamebase doesn't have the script commands to edit the config file correctly.
as the "disk" line in BasiliskII_prefs is duplicated for every HD added.

tested with Abuse running full at speed and correct colours.

is it jit version ?

however on my 64bit OS don't works: it searcha libpango.dll

if it's not jit, i prefere use fusion 3.0 with dosbox.
today i add some nice games that run greatly with vmac

@.mad
can your solution to be adapted to support dsk e hfv files?
because if i select by hand in basilisk 2 (my working version on 64bit os) device disk, mac rom and any other files, when i start it from gamebase i have "cannot find ROM".
i see you have make a bat for basilisk prefs, so it could be working with mac hardfiles...or not?

YES it is JIT.
---------------
modelid 5
cpu 3
fpu true
jit true
jitfpu true
jitdebug false
jitcachesize 8192
jitlazyflush true
jitinline true
------------------

however on my 64bit OS don't works: it searcha libpango.dll
Not sure about x64, but you MUST install "gtk+-2.10.13-setup.exe" for the GUI to work on x86.

that's what it is doing already

Boots "OS755.HFV" MacOS system 7.55
c:\GameBase\Macintosh 68k\Emulators\BasiliskII\OS755.HFV

Attaches Game.DSK as second HD drive at
c:\GBGame\0\
if i select by hand in basilisk 2 (my working version on 64bit os) device disk, mac rom and any other files, when i start it from gamebase i have "cannot find ROM".
copy "cdenable.sys" to Windows/System32/drivers/

Location of MAC rom is here...
stored in "GBBasiliskII_prefs"

rom c:\GameBase\Macintosh 68k\Emulators\BasiliskII\PERFORMA.ROM
i see you have make a bat for basilisk prefs, so it could be working with mac hardfiles...or not?
the batch file just copies a default config over the last one used.
it's not perfect, but a little trick to make it work, without scripting.

The games don't run from the shortcuts on the mac desktop - only by accessing the file on the HD and I still get a message warning me that cdenable.sys could not be found even though it is copied to the system32\drivers dir?
