Wed Nov 14, 2012 1:40 pm

Can someone out there tell me where to download a better version of the SharpX68000 emulator than the one I got, the win x68k highspeed 0.95? This things a pain to change disks in game. Thanks out there in advance. :?

XM6 and Win68k are the best emulators.

All emulators will require you to change the disk in multi disk games several times (Just like the real machine).

if all you want, is to play games without swapping disks at all.
try creating a HD installed version of the game.
But that is not so easy in a Japanese OS if you don't read Japanese.
and not all games are installable without hacking.
Googling may find a few HD games already done.

If you are having serious problems trying to swap disks, maybe your disk is corrupt or in a uncompatible file format for X68k.
Try converting the disk image to XDF.

It doesn't let me in through your link. There's no tab to uncheck.

No big deal, something's wrong on my end. I've been using the
win x68k highspeed 0.95 emulator with little problems, if I can't get
xm6 don't really matter. Thanks. :)

I have to temporarily enable the page in my NoScript add-on to my Firefox browser to get the download to work right. With the scripting disabled, it lets me uncheck the download manager box, but still tries to download the manager when I click on the download button.

You could try running the browser with add-ons disabled to see if that could be causing your problem. Without telling us exactly what you are seeing or what is happening when you click on that link though, it is hard to diagnose what is happening.

O.K. it finally worked!! Turns out the problem was I was on my computer in the library, and there was some weird "Baracuda web filter" blocking me! Thanks for the emulator- any chance there's a MOVIE RECORDER somewhere on this thing?
:D

Yeah Fraps costs money though for the full version, I was hoping this had a movie player in the options somewhere, but it looks like it doesn't. Bummer. :(
