after you get the rom in folder, the next step is to move that folder into it's numbered (250) group.

0001-0250
0251-0500
0501-0750
0751-1000
1001-1251

so in your example
6001-6250
c:\GameBase\NDS\ROMS\6001-6250\6168 - Zhu Zhu Babies MULTi7 (EUR) (EXiMiUS)\xms-zzbe.nds

i know this folder in folder method is crazy, but that's how ds-scene tool verified and setup the roms for me.

I have decided to remake the GB.
It now uses No-Intro (Decrypted) 2022.
All ROMs ZIPed in 1 folder.
like this...
0002 - Need for Speed - Underground 2 (USA) (En,Fr,De,Es,It).zip

will upload after further testing.

Thank you.mad for your availability. Now it works, but now there is a second problem. If I try to compact the archives (rar/zip) gamebase no longer detects them. There is a big difference in space occupied. Is there a solution? Thanks in advance

The filename xxxxxx.NDS is stored in the MDB file.
If you repack to 7z,RAR,ZIP.
the file extension will change and rom won't be found.

I can change the filename and extension to ZIP or 7z easy enough.

scene ZIP name in folder.
6168 - Zhu Zhu Babies MULTi7 (EUR) (EXiMiUS)\
- xms-zzbe.zip

or

numbered folder as ZIP name containing the NDS file.
6168 - Zhu Zhu Babies MULTi7 (EUR) (EXiMiUS).zip
- xms-zzbe.nds

what do you prefer?

Therefore, it is necessary to find a way that can also be automated. I think it is better to filename in zip, but then Batch2 will put every single zip file in the right folder? In the second case Gamebase would detect the zip but would be a folder inside; Example:
6168 - Zhu Zhu Babies Multi7 (EUR) (Eximius) .zip
for Gamebase would be
6168 - Zhu Zhu Babies Multi7 (EUR) (Eximius) .zip - 6168 - Zhu Zhu Babies Multi7 (EUR) (Eximius) - xms-zzbe.nds
Would this path be detected by Gamebase?
However, the second hypothesis would be a more "clean" job.

the old batch files will not work with any NEW zipped filenames.
they would need editing from .NDS to .ZIP

it would need you to ZIP all the scene names, before running the 2nd batch.
like this...
lgc-akum.nds -> lgc-akum.ZIP
move "lgc-akum.ZIP" "0676 - Akumajou Dracula Gallery of Labyrinth (JPN) (Legacy)"

or zip the .nds scene name and rename file like this...

lgc-akum.nds -> 0676 - Akumajou Dracula Gallery of Labyrinth (JPN) (Legacy).ZIP

but this is making it more complicted for the user to setup.

i think it's best for everyone, i just use latest no-intro rom set names.
this will make it more automated and clean.

it will include a batch to rename any CRC32 named files you already have.
plus a .dat file for clrmamepro / romcenter.

or just download complete new ZIPPED set and play.
which has 400+ more roms included.

Well, I'll wait for your update. However, it would be enough for gamebase to see the names as the scene organized them. Here "nintendo-ds-roms.com" there are all and in zip format but gamebase does not detect them.
