here the first release of pc-88

no extra because these are in japan text and games require change disk manually so you have look very well japan language to see what drive and what disk the game require.

Many games have number of drive and disk using occidental format, but some games use japan format..

However when you understand how ti works, could be fine to try some nice games

I have another archive of (i think) English games for next update :)

nice gamebase!

there are a few problems with it though.

example.
Crimson collection
these games only have one file, which has all the disks sequentially. I do not think they are 100% compatible in this format.

crimson.d88 can be converted in to this...

Crimson_PROGRAM.d88
Crimson_SCENARIO.d88
Crimson_USER.d88

Once split, you can create a NEW USER from the menu.

Load Crimson - after title screen.

1st option - Load USER data (you must create it first).
Drive 1 = PROGRAM
Drive 2 = USER

2nd option - create NEW user disk.
Drive 1 = SCENARIO
Drive 2 = USER

after disk has copied..
enter name of player.

then insert disks...

Drive1 = PROGRAM
Drive2 = USER

i have done a small personal remake...
1) renamed the files to English
2) converted and compacted the screens.
3) scripted M88 emu machine.

i will upload it and help you, if you want?.

not tested every game, but the 1 file (all disks) games seem to load ok.

the problem is with the saving and creation of USER disks, which are embedded in the 1 file.

these USER disks could be separated so Gamebase can handle the re-zip with the changed data.

emulation start, but i have a script error..
your modify will work if i found a new set of games completely different from this?
example: single game with disk 1,2,3,4 etc etc instead of a game that include all disk set in .d88 file?

you need to use this set of emulators, not your old setup.

your old dir was named EMUALTORS now it's EMULATORS.

once you fix the emulators.ini to read from your location...
K:\emul\GameBase\

and edit the M88.txt script to your GBGame folder, or delete this line..
Set_INI_Value(1||M88p2 for Windows||Directory||C:\GBGame\0)

it will work. :wink:

and any set of disks will work with this setup.

use gamebase compatible names like this...

game_diskA.d88
game_diskB.d88

not extra long TOSEC names, which will cause problems.
