Yes it would! It would also be nice not to make duplicate posts in different forums.

The CDs aren't publicly available to download via HTTP/FTP interface, so your only option is to stick with eMule (or write a letter to Santa).

e-Mule is super-FAB and I use it regularly, like NOW for example.
Anyway, being a sharing medium, connections are on and off.
You might find there might be one or two ON right now ...for example

My version is maybe not the latest, but I'm happy with it.
Why don't you try searching for something like 'Gb64 Gamebase v03' and see what turns up? ...For example.

By the way, sorry to Hijack your thread Lambert, but I've been tearing my hair out about something related...
Respect to all at GB64, you have produced a great work which I enjoy very much. I am also the first to say that copyright issues must not be ignored.

But maybe you should free up the distribution a bit, like seperating the roms form the front-end package. The two can always be married later (queue countless other threads (searches req'd).

The thing is, I'm sure there's something not quite right with your continued restrictions on copyright for the whole distribution package, it does after all include an illegal distribution of roms in the first place!
So please take some time out and try very hard to remove silly opposable digits from inappropriate orifices from time to time.

Oh, and don't forget that GB64 isn't the only Gamebase compatible project...
...Check out sister website http://www.bu22.com/databases.php
There is a whole world of people there who have different thoughts on distribution ...for example.

Sorry gang, I know we're normally V.Polite here, but someone had to say it.

Your ignorance is amazing.

Hello, have you actually ever used GB64? The ROMs (they are known as images not ROMs btw ) have never been part of the GB64 'distribution' .. so they have always been seperate - that's why it's against the license to have the images and the rest of GB64 on the same dvd/cd.

As for freeing up distribution of the 'ROMs'....have you not heard of GoodGB64? Sheesh! What more do you want us to do????
