Any way to use 7z files ?

I tried to add to a database some games that are contained in 7z archives but I see that Gamebase doesn't support that archive format.

Is there any way that I can add that kind of support or is it planned for a future version ?

7z support is non-existant...if it's only a few games then it's probably best to just rezip them.

If you were starting a database from scratch for public release and the emulator has 7z support you would just setup the GEMUS script so that GB64 passes the 7z file into the emulator as is and lets the emulator take care of it. Another, method maybe to use the Run_Program in GEMUS in your own script that would run the 7z exe with some commandline options to extract the contents prior to passing the contents to an emulator.

The simple fact is GB64 treats zip file natively and I don't know of any plans that's it'll do the same with 7z files. The space saving from 7z files containing multiple similar files is massive - but for single image files it's size benefits don't outweigh the standard and platform neutral zip format.
