Can I use a 5 1/4" floppy drive in my PC??
I have a old 64 where the drives are no good but I have a 5 1/4" drive for my PC. is there a way to load all my games onto my pc or onto a cd?

i'm sure the old PC 5 1/4" floppy drives cannot read Commodore 64 disks.
this is because the floppy drive just has read/write mechanics, while the C64 floppy was a whole computer on its own....
the only way to load them on to the PC is by using the Star Commander and a XE1541 cable, that will allow you to connect your disk drive to the PC parallel port.
Note, you cannot use the drive directly with any PC emulator for the Commodore 64.
By using Star Commander, you can convert the old floppy to a disk image file with an extension .D64. The D64 can then be played on any PC emulator.
