International Basketball and C128

Sun Mar 04, 2012 2:01 pm

This version of International Basketball does not seem to work on a C128.

I can remember that I had this version on disk when it for some reason did not work anymore. Nowadays I think it was because I changed to a C128. So the version of the Gamebase did not work on a C128 too, but it worked on a C64-Emulator. The screen just turns from white into light grey and nothing happens...

The other version (with the black guys) however seems to work.

Just searching around, I did find another confirmation of it having trouble on a C128. It is listed in the 2nd paragraph of the 1st post here http://www.zzap64.co.uk/zzap-rrap/viewt ... 93b65192e5

I am not sure if will work on a C128, as i don't have one.
But there's no harm in trying this version.

There are a few games that aren't 100% C128 compatible. Most of them fail by hitting the c128 register that throws the 64 mode into doublespeed.

I recall some budget-label casino game being unplayable on the C128. In fact I think it was "Monte Carlo Casino"
