VIC-20

Tue Jul 06, 2004 8:17 pm

Not that you chaps are not busy already, but is anyone compiling a VIC-20 database as I have many games still that I bought when I bought my VIC-20 back in 1980/1, or whenever it was that it came out (my memory is now about as small as the VIC-20!).

Fave games are Myriad (best shoot-em up ever made that I was just 45,000 points from clocking) and BONZO.

I know that someone was working on a VIC20 Database, but I haven't heard any update. The VIC20 is a little more complicated to setup, since the emulator needs to know ahead of time what size ram/rom to use/expect. Proper settings are critical and ram=value and rom=value keys have to be set correctly for each game. Check the Misc GameBase Projects threads section at the bottom, but there doesn't seem to be any VIC20 activity right now.
