Gamebase TRS-80?

Mon Jan 30, 2012 7:45 pm

Noticed this collection over on Underground Gamer - http://www.underground-gamer.com/details.php?id=55383

Go on, someone have a crack at making one.

I'd do it myself if I wasn't pre-occupied.

There are claims in the thread that it is an older collection too. I have also been hoping for someone to tackle a Gamebase for it for a while too.

i have been tinkering with the CoCo3 (carts only).
which has about 100 games (all i can find).

i dont have any of those TRS80 disks yet.
but if you find links to the newer TOSEC collection or updates for the one on U.G.
i will download them and link them to GameBase.

nice little gamebase .mad

It seems that all the games after "Panic Button" are off by one in the list. Every time i start a game, the next one on the list loads. Its fine for all the games from the start up until "Pinball", but then it goes bonkers for me. It's as though the mdb somehow got corrupted and is numbered incorrectly for the game startup files.

Is anybody else having this problem?

I see what happened.

I looked in the database file, and the games were sorted alphabetically. The gamefile to start pinball is called "Video", so it was put at the end of the list, and everything moved up one slot as a result.

I just quickly fixed the problem with MS ACCESS and all is good.

You can download a complete set of TRS-80 roms from here in zip files going by the TRS80 model number e.g. 1, 2,3 or 4

http://www.theoldcomputer.com/roms/inde ... Mega-Packs

After downloading those you should have an almost update to date as you can get TRS-80 roms.

Thanks

Thanks, but you need to donate before you can download.
