IntroBase V02 released

Mon Dec 29, 2014 12:52 pm

5 years after what should be the final version of Introbase64, a IntroBase64 V02 is released.

IntroBase64 V02 was recompiled from scratch and has the following features:
  • All 9350 intros from http://intros.c64.org update 2014-08-06 are included.
  • All screenshots are attached to the intros.
  • Every intro with music/sound has a link to the associated SID file for easy identification of music used in the intro.
  • Every intro has a link to the online version at http://intros.c64.org for viewing comments about the selected intro.
  • VICE, CCS64 and Hoxs64 emulators are included and pre-configured.
  • Package contains everyting (intros, screenshots, frontend, database, sid files, emulators) to configure IntroBase64 on any Windows system.
IntroBase64 V02 can be downloaded from here.

(PS I don't have connections to the C64 Intros Team. IntroBase64 is a database for the GameBase frontend that uses and links to the intros and screenshots published at http://intros.c64.org.)

Strange... :?
It's just a Google Drive folder. Any modern web browser should be able to download it. I've tried IE and Firefox, both work fine.
But it's just a temporary location. IntroBase64 will soon move to a new home, I guess it will take a couple of days/weeks until it's available from a better location.

An update for IntroBase64 V02 is released. All 9400 intros that are available at the moment are included in the latest version.
To update your existing IntroBase64 V02, extract the ZIP file and copy all files over your existing installation.

Download available from Google Drive.
