Dax,
How different is the FS UAE to the Gamebase Amiga V2 apart from the very slightly different front end / emulator (its still WinUAE source).
The layout is nice but I'd presume the content is roughly the same?
thanks Paul.

FS-UAE is a frontend + best features of WinUAE - all in one package. Only OpenGL supported, no Direct3D yet. So slowdown on some PC's available. Content is NOT the same. GB Amiga v2 has more entries (approx. 5000), FS-UAE has less entries, but more playable games (proper game files in compilation). Everything in 1 place, controls customized the same like I did for GB Amiga and GB CDTV-CD32. And it grows with great community, which may give us more game entries in shorter time (then I'll update it with game files). It also supports Tosec games, which differs sometimes by cracktros (depends on group, who cracked some game).
I use GB Amiga's and FS-UAE. But to be honest - more often FS-UAE.

I know almost nothing about Macs but don't they have a PowerPC mode?
Would it work under that and what about Wine or OS alternatives..

Download mac version of the Launcher...
https://fs-uae.net/download#macosx
run the MAC portable launcher from DAX's FS-UAE extracted setup.
if the database doesn't show the games (paths from PC version).
scan the kickstarts and game folders from MAC launcher settings.
this will create mac version of the settings and database.
It takes a while to scan 60,000+ files.
*TIP*
Any missing screens and configs are downloaded automatically as long as you stay connected.
Yes it is VERY easy.nscxp2005 wrote:Hi guys,
Any luck with making the FS-UAE collection that dax has uploaded working macOS?
Thank you for your time.

Keep in mind that there is "update" folder in fs-uae.skroc.pl. I upload updated game files there, according to proper folder names. To activate it You HAVE to register within FS-UAE then login. Then You will see feature "Update Game Database" which downloads new entries. After that copy game files to proper FS-UAE directories and select "Update File Database"

After 3 weeks of learning of RetroPie, I've released my first compilation for Raspberry Pie 3. It's Sony Playstation with 30 exclusive games for Attract Mode.
You need Raspberry Pie 3, USB joypad, microSD card, HDMI cable and TV/monitor. You will also need RetroPie and Attract Mode installed and configured on Your SD card. In future I plan to release base image that can be extended with my compilations. As for now, use David Marti (from YT) base image called "Motion Blue v3.0" then extend it with the compilation. A little Linux knowledge is necessary
No games in uploaded package. Use own resources with BIN/CUE or PBP files with the same names, as rest of extra files (snaps, wheels).
Short movie (only Polish) that shows list of games:
