Added a header to the forum however you and i would like to see a more polished header but i am no artist, We have a abundance of talented members, so a call out for help for a more polished header for the forum.
Consider creating a header then post it here, also looking for a logo and other images like an avatar for users that don't have a avatar and so on.
Shane.

Re: thanks for the new forum
the header looks blurry when stretched to fit the table.
why not have a full size image (same as the table dimensions).
that way we could have selectable game themes, replacing one header image.

Welcome Buttonmash
.mad. uploaded another header it's installed now. I need to change some code in the theme to display the forum header at 1024px x 200px will do this soon and look into game themes.
Should we change the back ground surrounding the forum? it's emulating the color on the gamebase64 site background at the moment, i would like to see a tiled watermark added in the form of GB64 logos what do you guys think.

Re: thanks for the new forum
Any chance in swapping the inactive/active icons around for forums and threads? Currently if a forum/thread has active posts in it, the icons are light, and the inactive ones are dark. Surely it makes more sense to be the other way around?

Re: thanks for the new forum
I'll add a different icon altogether for hot items, in the mean time i made the outline red and spent some time on a slew of other changes.
Thanks .mad. for the new header image

Re: thanks for the new forum
The autoload cache file amongst others were named incorrectly. Easy fixed! now will go on the hunt for why it happened.
Edit: The cache folder is now sanitized!! Some old cache files were gumming up the works and remained after the cache was flushed by the system. Forced several cache resets with no issues.
Cheers for emailing me that we were down, i was at work with a few hours left and went home directly once my shift finished due to your emails.

"Remember Me" doesn't seem to work for me, I have to log in each time I visit. And I've tried clearing the cookies etc for the forum from my browser as well.

I also use the NoScript add-on, and have this set as a trusted site. I think that can prevent cookie saves.
Re: thanks for the new forum
Have you tried the "Delete all board cookies" button at the bottom of the forums? I noticed it early on, but haven't had a reason to try it myself yet.

Re: thanks for the new forum
Issues with not being able to 'login' or with the 'remember me' feature is almost always a cookie problem either in the forum settings or the users web browser cookies need to be cleared.
Delete all cookies via the link on the bottom of the forum first, if this does not help or you can't log into the forum to use the delete all cookies link then delete all cookies in your browser manually that belong to gb64.com.
With Firefox goto 'open menu' 'preferences' 'Privacy' 'remove individual cookies' then search gb64 and delete all cookies belonging to gb64.com this will fix most issues.
Cheers for the feedback made some changes to fix this issue.
