Emulator Updates

Wed Jul 14, 2004 8:35 am

Not exactly new news, but good news, Snes9x version 1.43 WIP was released Monday (12th)!

Amongst a host of other mods, Seta's custom chip is much better supported, which crucially now makes Exhaust Heat 2 and F1 ROC II playable 8)

How do you set Snes9x instead of Zsnes as the default for individual games?
Well I'll add the correct settings on the next release of the database, but for now...
...highlight the game in Gamebase -> Press F2 -> Type "emu=Snes9x" & press OK
Job done :)

Well there ya go, after all this time, two buses painted in Snes colours come at once!
Within a week, the seta chip breakthrough has been incorporated into the new release of Zsnes, so Exhaust Heat 2 and F1 ROC II etc. are now playable with Zsnes release 7/17 too.

Grab the latest release at the new Zsnes WIP home - http://ipherswipsite.com/zsnes/
