Hi
i am new to computers and have had a look around this site and would like to be able to play old commodore games on my pc. would anyone be able to give me a step by step guide on how to get these games running on my pc bearing in mide that i really don't know much about pc's

It isn't that hard. Being a novice on the PC, I suggest simple downloading and installing VICE for Windows at http://www.viceteam.org/
You will need to be able to unZip a program (use WinZip, etc.) to intall. It runs like a standard Windows program. Downlaod a C64 game and use VICE's "attach disk image" from the menu to find the C64 image and run it. VICE has decent documentation if you get stuck, or you can try www.lemon64.com for more info/help.
