Hi folks,
congratuliations for GamebaseST! Great job & it brings back those memories from the past
One problem: I cannot download the games, as I don't have e-Mule here... could any good soul put the games on USENET, or could I have some link if anybody knows alternatives?
Thanks a lot & keep it up!
Daniel

With the promised 'imminent' release of v1.0 I can't see 0.2 being reposted on usenet in the mean time (not by the regular poster at least). In a similar way to the fact that v02 hadn't been reposted for the last few months due to v03 being imminent...it would be a waste of bandwidth all round as you'd have to grab it ALL + some again.
That is unless GBST v1.0 has been delayed?

Pugsy I can't remember having said that v0.3 would ever be released!?!?
The reason behind the holdup of v1.0 of GamebaseST is that we are waiting for the next release of the Gamebase frontend. James is a busy man and so the changes that are needed for GamebaseST are taking time.
I can only apologise for the delay
There is one good thing that comes from this delay and that is the next release will have more games and extras because every day something else gets added!

Nuts, I didn't realise you were waiting on James....could be some time then
I look forward to playing with GBST v1.0 though...still got a soft spot for it. I'd really like a version of Oids not from Automation though...it's really terrible that my fav ST game only got cracked by Was Not Was. A version with extra worlds would be fantasic.....
BTW, don't know if I've mentioned it before but I programmed a all-in-one cheat program for the ST about a decade ago, which allowed you to effectively poke over 100 games. Lots of PD coverdisk games but it included a few pokes for commercial games like Defender of the Crown (a stinker to find the cheat as compiled C was a sod to trace through with monst). May be of use for one or two games if you've got no trained versions, if you want it PM me with your email address.
I never mentioned anything about gbst v0.3 though.....I think you got confused with the mention of 'v03', I was referring to GB64 v03 which I was using as an example of why GBST v0.2 was unlikely to be posted on usenet with GBST V1.0 being imminent in the same way as GB64 v02 with GB64 V03 being inbound.Paul Thompson wrote:Pugsy I can't remember having said that v0.3 would ever be released!?!?
