Mark did work an Apple2Mania which had Apple//e and IIgs combined.
i remember doing some play testing with MESS.
either emulation was pretty bad or it had quite a few corrupt disks.
the date was around 2010 when gamebase v1.3 was released.
and it was based on a small TOSEC collection.
Apple 2 emulation has improved with MAME and thousands of original disks have been redumped with protection checks removed.
I did dabble with a NEW Apple gamebase in 2017, but never got around to finishing it.
As there is an insane amount of early learning /educational software in the new dumps, which don't really suit a gamebase. But i still had to add them.
