Aren't they around 100GB ? I only have a few, but I know some are pretty large.

I'm not sure if this is all of them, but the various videos are singlely downloadable from:

I was off. Its only in the ~80 GB range. I think all the download links on the longplay site link to the archive.org site anyway, and anything having to do with war isn't listed on the longplay site, although the files are there.

I did notice one thing, there was a pack of 60 videos released as #200 on the newer set. Video #12 was originally of Skramble, but at some point was changed to M.U.L.E. ? The GB64 V10 database appears to link to the Skramble video, but not M.U.L.E.

Edit: Does C64GVA200-12-Skramble.avi actually exist anywhere? I can't find it.

The file is actually missing from the webstie folder, due to the reason you mentioned.

C64GVA200-12-MULE.avi
C64GVA200-18-Drelbs.avi

http://archive.org/details/C64Gamevideo ... 8-Skramble

The file you are after is a High Quality version of the same thing.

I also found some of the other missing longplays on Youtube last night too (the unnumbered ones), but haven't run across a normal download location. (I do have a Youtube downloader add-on).

I have the unnumbered ones, I downloaded them from the main longplays.de website back in 2007.

They now seem to have disappeared since the file numbering.
Others have been remade, or edited. So quite a few duplicates exist.

I downloaded all the Longplays available from archive.org (the file host for longplays.de). I found 3 of the Cinepacks to be corrupt though as they had different playback issues in both WMP & VLC. The 1st one listed below does play fine in VLC though after getting past an index error message in VLC. The other downloads were of lesser quality, so I ended up grabbing them from Youtube --uploader DerSchmu:

C64-Longplay170-Varidan.avi
C64GVA272-OneManAndHisDroid.avi
C64GVA296-SpyVsSpy2.avi

I also got C64-Longplay200-12-Skramble.avi from Youtube & linked C64GVA200-12-MULE.avi in my gamebase.

This leaves 47 unnumbered longplays. I have only searched for a few of these, but it seems they might be on Youtube posted by an uploader named c64longplays, but I have no idea if these are the ones the GB team meant to have linked yet.

Why when there is an update in GB64 you can't just grab the updated files. Like you can with Mame?

Because doing a new release already requires several days of work and every additional hour will be invested on updating the collection rather than preparing & testing special update packages.

Have in mind that maintaining the GB64 collection is a one-man-project completely done in spare time besides job and family.

If someone out there is willing to prepare an updated package please do so...

By the way, when browsing DerSchmu's videos on Youtube, I found 11 new Longplays belonging to longplays.de -The newest set ends at 299 on the main site, goes to 305 on archive.org, and to 316 on Youtube, although there are 2 numbered 213, and no 214 that I can find.

Unfortunately, the unnumbered 47 are kinda hit and miss on Youtube. There are 4 I haven't been able to find, but there are longplay videos done by others to use. Some have been cut to fit an old Youtube limitation of 10 minute videos, and some have been split into 2-4 separate videos. I am assuming there is a way to recombine them into 1. I also found a longplay split into 2, where I can't find the 2nd part.
