Nice one, thanks Mayhem - Ignore the request over on YakYak, I tend not to watch the main board on here.

OK what am I doing wrong, can't get most of the games to load these are in .prg format?

Update - it's a script problem, just untick "use Short Filenames".

This was noted in the INSTALL.TXT file included in the main .zip
Help! When I try to launch a game, it complains about not finding the file when booting!

In versions of Vice 2.2 and later, you need to click Gemus -> <name of emulator> and deselect "use short filenames".

There are a few of us that read, and I had you on that list.

Anyway, thanks for the update Mayhem.

; AE Cart boots with corrupt screen.
; must use these VICE RAM settings.

Set_INI_Value(1||VIC20||RAMInitStartValue||255)
Set_INI_Value(1||VIC20||RAMInitValueInvert||64)
Set_INI_Value(1||VIC20||RAMInitPatternInvert||0)

or enter monitor and type - G A027 to fix it.

some names are suspect,
these three should be linked together, using the cover names...

Invaders Addition
Invaders English
Invaders Subtraction

Also working on a update ;).
which i will pass on to you when ready.

AE has booted with a corrupt screen for an age. If there's a way of fixing the ROM instead, might be easier than trying to rewrite the GEMUS script.

Space Rescue (Run Magazine)
http://vic20lives.webs.com/typeingames.htm

Space Rescue (Sumlock) is linked to that game entry.

easily done with all the duplicate names.

Cheers for that... however I don't seem to be able to download any games on that page? Anyone got a complete archive of RUN magazine games perhaps?

Until looking at the ReRun disk archive just now, I had no idea it was only a best of, and did not include all of the programs at least early on.

I can't get the download links to work on that page either.

the original link was posted by GreyGhost on Denial in 2010.
so the freedrive file has probably bit the dust.

If he posted it on Denial, then I should have downloaded it I imagine. I'll check my "processed" folder for where I shove copies of things after I have put them into GB20...

EDIT: Sadly no sign of it there either. Guess I'll be needing a RUN magazine download pack then...
