GB64 Recommended Games...

Aliants - The Desperate Battle for Earth
Matt Larsen says: My mum had bought this game for me on my birthday for a couple bucks. I think it is the best game Keypunch ever put out in my opinion. The different themes make it fun, especially for budget software...

Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge
Neo-Rio says: This game came long after Pitstop II, but this game improves on the split player action.

Elite
Steve says: The mother of all space trading games. Great game, you begin to live in the large universe of this game as soon as you begin playing. Still remember how i earned enough money to get my docking computer, manual docking into a space station was bloody frustrating ;-)

Newcomer
Neo-Rio says: One of the deepest and involving RPGs on the C64, that came very late in its life. It came on 15 disk sides, which easily makes it the largest game written for the humble Commodore 64.

SWIV
Neo-Rio says: I love blasters. SWIV is the sequel to "Silkworm". Yet another shooter which is very well done and playable. Somebody has to play as the jeep though...

Puzznic
Neo-Rio says: Puzznic was actually an obscure Japanese arcade adult puzzle game. The C64 version is extremely playable, but just don't expect any nude pictures... they're not here!

Snack Man
Neo-Rio says: Cheerful little pacman clone. As playable and as fun as the orginal, with a bunch of different and varied mazes.

BC's Quest for Tires
Steve says: Hehe, still love that one. Kind of Prehistoric Jungle Hunt and great fun!

Downhill - Ski Jump
Neo-Rio says: One of the better games from the Cascade 50 games cassette, even if your skiier has no arms. Different levels require different skiing tactics... until you need the ambulance.
