GB64 Recommended Games...

Streets of London
Neo-Rio says: What a ridiculous text adventure game! Silly jokes, a near unfathomable map, and the chance to mug old ladies for the bus fare are all part of your journey to find the Holy Grail in modern day London!

Rags to Riches
Neo-Rio says: Here's an original game. Escape from poverty and starvation. Get an education, get part time jobs, get an apartment. Make all the right moves and you'll be earning millions! Just watch out for theives and the IRS! (same thing really!)

Rainbow Islands
Neo-Rio says: Sequel to Bubble Bobble, this game is just as good - if not better. Beautiful conversion of the arcade game. Playability is nearly "arcade perfect".

Zodiac
Neo-Rio says: In Zodiac, you must search the maze for all the zodiacs. When you find them, you'll be warped to the mystical Cubic Gate where you'll have to stick them all in while dodging the nasties.

Demon Stalkers - The Raid on Doomfane
J2003C says: If you liked Gauntlet in the arcade and were disappointed with the C64 conversion, then try this one. Everything here seems better, there are lots of extras, and it is actually possible to finish the game (at least get to the end) without cheating!

Fort Apocalypse
Steve says: One of the first game i ever played on the C64, i still love this one and play through the whole game now and then. great heli-action!

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
Neo-Rio says: Educational games are rarely this good. Track down Carmen by following geographical clues. This game spawned a franchise of games, and even ended up as a cartoon series too.

Wargame Construction Set
Neo-Rio says: Make your own war games! You get to design everything, from map, army, unit strength. Recreate historic battles or futuristic wars. Make a game, and let the whole world play it!

Thrust
Neo-Rio says: Thrust is much like the old Atari game Gravitar, except this is way more playable and challenging. I always liked blowing the nuke reactor up before leaving the planet.
