GB64 Recommended Games...

Swap
Neo-Rio says: This is a good puzzle game which is easy to play, but difficult to master. Definitely fun nevertheless.

Superhero
Neo-Rio says: Superhero is a 3D isometric platform game in the mould of Head over Heels, and "Batman" on the Amstrad and Spectrum. So if you liked those games... you'll like this one as well.

Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Neo-Rio says: This game is based of an 80s band! As a result it's weird and spun out, but incredibly absorbing. "BANG! Frankie say...... no more."

Hysteria
Neo-Rio says: Colourful side scrolling blaster. Pick up pieces of a puzzle, upon which you are greeted by a weird alien end-of-level boss. The music is quite memorable as well.

Newcomer
Neo-Rio says: One of the deepest and involving RPGs on the C64, that came very late in its life. It came on 15 disk sides, which easily makes it the largest game written for the humble Commodore 64.

Jumpman
J2003C says: The "forgiving" nature of this game make it unique. You sometimes grab a platform by a fingernail at the last second. Variety and difficulty make this game a highly replayable classic.

Pi.R Squared
Neo-Rio says: Weird action/puzzle game this one. Collect the equation by running around the cogs in the right order. Amazingly frustrating game (don't throw your joystick!), but will surprisingly hook you.

Aztec Challenge
Neo-Rio says: A classic game, probably remembered more for the music than the game itself. It's an incan multi-event game, complete with death traps.

Mondlandung
Steve says: Alright, i know... how can you ....? But i love that game and I guess it's one of the first games i've ever seen on the C64. Coded in Basic and still enjoyable.
