R1-D1
Neo-Rio says: I remember this game more for the nostalgia and the music. Get R1-D1 to the exit, but you'll have to collect all the keys in the correct order.

Raid over Moscow
Steve says: Yeah! It is exactly that what the title suggests.
Hehe, I loved it. Good old times :-)

Deactivators
graveyardjohn says: Don't be put off by the Speccy-esque graphics, this is a puzzle game without comparison. Get the bombs out of the building using skill, planning, and....robots.

Fist+
graveyardjohn says: OK, its an 'IK+' rip-off, but it plays quite well. The between-round game where you throw knives in 3D at oncoming ninjas is very addictive, and keeps you coming back for more.

Mondlandung
Steve says: Alright, i know... how can you ....? But i love that game and I guess it's one of the first games i've ever seen on the C64. Coded in Basic and still enjoyable.

Karnov
Neo-Rio says: Many people said that the C64 version of this game sucks, as it was a port from the Spectrum. I found this game to be incredibly playable and challenging when I got over how bad it looks.

Great American Cross-Country Road Race, The
Neo-Rio says: Activision converted their Atari 2600 game "Enduro" to the C64, and added a cannonball run element. The gameplay stays simple, but now there is actually a point to the whole thing.

Jumpman Junior
Neo-Rio says: Sequel to Jumpman, but with fewer levels all in a single load. Not an easy game by a long stretch, and will frustrate and challenge you to no end.
|
Bruce Lee
Pugsy says: Simply one of the best platform games ever devised. The difficulty has been set just right so even after you've finished it you still come back for more.
