GB64 Recommended Games...

Armalyte
Michael Plate says: One of the best shoot'em ups ever. Don't miss playing it in the two-player mode.

Street Machine
Neo-Rio says: Playable little overhead racing title. It's challenging enough. I like it!

Fort Apocalypse
Steve says: One of the first game i ever played on the C64, i still love this one and play through the whole game now and then. great heli-action!

Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?
Neo-Rio says: Educational games are rarely this good. Track down Carmen by following geographical clues. This game spawned a franchise of games, and even ended up as a cartoon series too.

Commando 86
Neo-Rio says: Commando for 2 players! Well, this is more like Gauntlet in reality. Here, keys are wire cutters, and instead of ghosts and grunts we have tanks and planes. Get all the documents over 20 levels!

Motor Mania
Steve says: First racing game I played on the C64, great fun. This is the one where you could run over pedestrians, correct? ;-)

Barbarian - The Ultimate Warrior
Neo-Rio says: Inspired by those "Conan the Barbarian" movies, Barbarian is a fighter for 2 players. The dubious "head lopping" feature is what we all remember well about this game!

Ace of Aces
Neo-Rio says: Set yourself some enemy targets to wipe out and try to complete your mission in one piece! More arcade than flight simulation, but you have lots of controls in your cockpit to play with. Just don't turn off your engines!

Ninja
Jimbo says: It'll probably take you 5 minutes to complete, but you gotta play it for the music and atmosphere!
